The Birds & The Bees

Once you reach Advanced, you unlock the ability to breed horses, but, this comes with some questions, should you? how often should you? what are the benefits? This is where planned pare- oh, wrong species. Anyway... when it comes to breeding horses, you want to breed with a target in mind, what do you want the foal to be, to do. Do you want the foal to sell? Do you want it to race? Always consider the parent's stats to make sure you get a foal you want.

I stick it where?

To breed a horse, you need a Stallion and a Mare who is in heat. It's better to breed horses who have higher fertility, as it will take less time. To start breeding, first, leash the Stallion, then leash the Mare. If they are suitable for each other they'll start... ya know... making babies. They won't always be successful however, and there is a cooldown between each attempt.

Artificial?

A safer bet, once you reach Master, is to use artificial insemination. This is the process of taking a Stallion's well... we call it DNA, and sticking it inside the Mare, thus creating a safer more efficient pregnancy. To do this, get a DNA Sample Container, and right click the Stallion a few times. Then, right click the mare with the DNA Sample and boom. Pregnant mare.
